Life in a Jar

Submitted by janna.slye on

Mr. Myles Peterson’s 6th grade class presented an extraordinary performance of Life in a Jar.  This student-produced drama began as a project for four 9th grade students from Kansas.  They discovered the story of a Polish Catholic woman named Irena Sendler who saved 2,500 Jewish children from the Warsaw Ghetto during the Holocaust.  The Kansas students researched Irena Sendler and wrote a script depicting her story.
