Hiking Field Trip

Submitted by janna.slye on

The third grade went hiking up to Whiting Campground.  They were able to stop and do activities along the way. Some of the activites included a scavenger hunt, looking at nature up close with a magnifying glass, measuring tree's, breaking the balance of force, and so many more fun activities. They enjoyed a well deserved lunch when they reached the top. It was a great field trip to kick off the year!!!!

Friday's "Rock"

Submitted by janna.slye on

Friday afternoons rock in 4th grade! Every Friday from 2:40 until 3:10 the 4th graders gather to sing their hearts out. They sing popular songs from artists of today and classic rock from the 80's. The songs are carefully chosen for lyrics and meaning. You might be walking down the hall and hear "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor or "Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi. Whatever the decade there is something for everyone and it brings a smile to all of their faces!
