Submitted by janna.slye on

Choir members woke up early every morning for weeks and weeks to practice for choir.  They worked really hard getting everything ready for the March 5th and 6th performances.  The choir did two performances, one for the school and one for all the parents.

Science Fair

Submitted by janna.slye on

Fifth and sixth grade students worked very hard on science fair projects during the month of January.  The afternoon of February 6th, they displayed their projects in their classrooms.  Each project was judged, and two students from each class moved on to district.  The school and parents were able to walk trough the classrooms and enjoyed the science fair projects as well.  The Sierra Bonita Science Fair was a great success.

Job Shadow Day

Submitted by janna.slye on

Students at Diamond Fork Junior High became part of Sierra Bonita’s staff for a day.  The 7th grade CTE (Career and Technical Education) classes participated in a job shadow day.  Several of those 7th grade students came to Sierra Bonita.  Annie Merrill was one of these students.  Annie, a student at Sierra Bonita last year, chose to help in Mrs. Sarianne Condie’s class.  Annie read with students including her younger sister, Sophie Merrill, who happens to be in Mrs.
