Free At-home Kindergarten Readiness Program
UPSTART is a free, technology-delivered kindergarten readiness program that will give your child a fun start in reading, math, and science (with a focus on reading) in just 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week.

Praise Notes 9-29-2017
Every Friday, "Praise Notes" are read during morning announcements. These students are called to the office and get thier picture taken. Students can earn a "Praise Note" by being caught doing kind things throughout the school and classrooms.
Grandparents Night - Tuesday, September 26th
TOMORROW night is Grandparents Night at the PTA Book Fair!!
It is going to be SO much fun. There will be a photo booth where you'll be able to use your phone to take photos, treats, and the kids will get to make popsicle stick frames for their grandparents to take home, and of course there will be amazing books to look through!
Make sure to send the kids with their grandparents tomorrow night at 6:00 PM.
Utah County Health - Medical and Sickness Policy

Also, they are offering a flu clinic on the following days:
October 2nd - Parkview Elementary 1pm-5pm
October 9th - Cherry Creek Elementary 1pm-5pm
October 16th - Diamond Fork Junior High 1:30-5:30pm
Nebo Heros Remembering 9/11
Students in the third grade remember 9/11 and our veterans. Each student wrote down what a hero means to them. We thank all those who have fought for our freedom.
Picture Retake Day - Friday, October 6th
Friday, October 6th is picture retake day! If your student has not had their picture taken, they will get it taken Friday, October 6th. If your child has gotten their picture taken, but would like retakes, please send your picture packet to school with them on retake day. The photographer will need the picture packet to scan the bar code that is located on the picture packet.

Explorers Hall of Fame - Mrs. Sorensen's Class 5th Grade Class
Students in Mrs. Sorensen's 5th Grade class learned about explorers.
Students had the opportunity to do the following:
*Research an explorer
*Drew an explorer
*Listed 5 facts about the explorer
*Had fun looking at the other explorers that others drew
