Our 5th grade student, Mya, was able to attend a book signing for Michael Vey. Mya surprised her teacher, Mrs. Coutlee, with a signed copy of his book. Way to go Mya!!
Every Friday, "Praise Notes" are read during morning announcements. These students are called to the office and get thier picture taken. Students can earn a "Praise Note" by being caught doing kind things throughout the school and classrooms.

Our 4th grade student, Lincoln Peine, is our first ever school Meteorologist. When he grows up, he wants to be a Meteorologist. Lincoln was one of the 12 students selected to take part in "ABC 4 Utah Weather bug" with Dan Pope. Principal Andersen made him our very first Meteorologist. During morning annoucements each day, Lincoln will provide the daily weather forecast for Sierra Bonita.
The students in Mrs. Coutlee's wrote advertisements for a new friend.
The names have been covered and hung around the room. Now they are reading them. If they are that kind of friend, the lift the flap and write down the name.
Maybe they will find some new friends.
