Sculpting in Mrs. Staheli's 3rd Grade Class
Mahonri Mackintosh Young is an artist featured in the Springville Art Museum. He was a Utah sculptor who felt that it was the ordinary people who were heroes in his life. Mrs. Staheli’s 3rd Grade Class studied Mr. Young and tried their hand at sculpting the heroes in their lives.

Every Friday, "Praise Notes" are read during morning announcements. These students are called to the office and get thier picture taken. Students can earn a "Praise Note" by being caught doing kind things throughout the school and classrooms.

Student Council News Broadcast
The student council has put together a video news broadcast. It's only a little over a minute, so not long at all (this is their first one).

UPSTART is a free, technology-delivered kindergarten readiness program that will give your child a fun start in reading, math, and science (with a focus on reading) in just 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week.

Grandparents Night - Tuesday, September 26th
TOMORROW night is Grandparents Night at the PTA Book Fair!!
It is going to be SO much fun. There will be a photo booth where you'll be able to use your phone to take photos, treats, and the kids will get to make popsicle stick frames for their grandparents to take home, and of course there will be amazing books to look through!
Make sure to send the kids with their grandparents tomorrow night at 6:00 PM.
