Lunch working is FUN to do, FUN to do, FUN to do......
At Sierra Bonita we are learning how Dance and movement can help us learn everyday subjects like Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts. Here are some things our 3rd-6th grade students have been dancing about this week.3rd grade was introduced to REPEATED ADDITION through observing dances of others and mathing out their movements.4th grade took it a step further and used dance and movement to see MULTIPLICATION in action. 5th grade will be dancing about different forms of TEXT STRUCTURE.
Every Friday, "Praise Notes" are read during morning announcements. These students are called to the office and get thier picture taken. Students can earn a "Praise Note" by being caught doing kind things throughout the school and classrooms.
The third grade enjoyed going on a fieldtrip to Thanksgiving Point Curiosity Museum. It looks like the kids had so much fun! A big THANK YOU to all the parent volunteers that helped them with this field trip! (additional photos posted)

Second Grade Visits Jakers Pumpkin Patch!
It's been great having Principal Andersen at Sierra Bonita. We are super excited to share this day with him and appreciate all he does for our school! THANK YOU Mr. Andersen!
5th grade boys create a "problem" for another group to solve as they learn about different kinds of text structures.
Each month, the PTA holds a "Birthday Table Lunch" for the students who have birthdays that month. Tables are set up and decorated for the occastion. Parents also join in for the fun!
