Meet Mrs. Christensen - 1st Grade Teacher

I was born in Calif. but raised on an Island in Washington State, Mercer Island; 7 miles long, 5 miles wide.  Attended BYU a long time ago and received my associates degree in Child Dev.  Married my best friend and 5 children, 2 are twins.  I have 5 1/2 grandchildren.We moved back to Utah in 1991 to raise our children and have been here ever since.  Got my teaching degreein 2011 and am so glad I did.  I love being a teacher and coming to work every day.Mrs. Christensen, 1st Grade Teacher

"All Tied up"

On day two of Red Ribbon week, students came to school wearing a tie! "Don't get tied Up by the internet, be safe and smart" 

NetSmartz Assembly

Students at Sierra Bonita enjoyed the NetSmartz assembly today given by Cole Parkinson. The assembly goes over internet safety and is an interactive, educational program of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC) that provides age-appropriate resources to help teach children how to be safer on- and offline. The program is designed for children ages 5-17, parents and guardians, educators, and law enforcement.

Praise Notes 10-7-2016

Every Friday, "Praise Notes" are read during morning announcements. These students are called to the office and get thier picture taken. Students can earn a "Praise Note" by being caught doing kind things throughout the school and classrooms.
