Message from our Choir Teachers!

Submitted by tiffany.manwaring on

Dear Choir Parents and Choir Kids,

Thank you all for a wonderful choir year. It has broken our hearts that we have not been able to perform our Disney Program this year. It has been one for the record, to say the least! We would like to let you know how much we have loved working with you this past school year in choir. We kept hoping that there was a chance that we could sneak it in the schedule for last week of school. Needless to say, there will not be one this year.

Congratulations Tyler Stewart!

Several of our 6th graders participated in the Noetic National Math Contest, and they all did great!  Tyler Stewart was our team winner and he got an Honorable Mention in the contest!  Congratulations to all our participants, and way to go, Tyler!

Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

Submitted by tiffany.manwaring on

According to History.com, Cinco de Mayo, or the fifth of May, is a holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s May 5, 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. The day, which falls on Tuesday, May 5 in 2020, is also known as Battle of Puebla Day. While it is a relatively minor holiday in Mexico, in the United States, Cinco de Mayo has evolved into a commemoration of Mexican culture and heritage, particularly in areas with large Mexican-American populations.

Submitted by tiffany.manwaring on

All that is going on teacher appreciation week kind of got overlooked. Just wanted you all to know that we are able to still bring gifts to the front desk and they will get it to your teachers classroom for you.

This week is an awesome week to honor them for all the wonderful things they have been doing for us and our kids. I am so grateful for the teachers and leadership of Sierra bonita.
