Assembly

Sierra Bonita was privileged to hear from Mrs. Tami Pyfer, Education Advisor to Governor Herbert, during a Monday morning assembly.  The assembly was a celebration of the 200th anniversary of the National Anthem.  Students learned the history of the National Anthem and watched as students and teachers sang, recited, danced to, and portrayed all four verses.  Mrs. Pyfer encouraged students to think of the brave men and women who protect our country when they hear the National Anthem.  She continued saying “think in your mind that you have a responsibility to make sure that we keep this the land of the free and home of the brave by taking advantage of your opportunities to learn here at school.”  A big thank you goes to Mrs. Pyfer and all those involved in making this an unforgettable assembly.
