For today's Who's Who Wednesday, we would like to introduce you to our first grade teacher, Ms. Erin Cope!
What is your job title and how long have you been working?
1st grade teacher. I'm in my 6th year of teaching.
In your opinion, what's the best part of teaching or working with the kids?
Building positive relationships with my kids, watching their confidence grow (both academically and personally), and seeing them progress and succeed in areas they once struggled in.
What are some fun facts about you and your family?
I love traveling, camping, cooking, and reading. I enjoy all the seasons for the variety they bring, but summer is my favorite. S'mores, chocolate, candy, and sugar cookies are on the top of my list for go-to treats. My favorite foods are pizza, soup, and salad. I have more leopard print clothes and accessories than I can count, so I'm often in theme with my jungle classroom;).
Anything else you would like to add?
I absolutely love being a part of Sierra Bonita Elementary! I feel so connected to the wonderful community of teachers/staff, students and parents here. I am very grateful for the opportunity I have to interact with them and learn/grow from them! I am very blessed to have one of the best jobs out there!!
