On October 10 the Sierra Bonita student council arranged an assembly for the students.  This assembly was based on the book Have You Filled A Bucket Today? By Carol McCloud.  The student council was trying to teach the students to be “bucket fillers.”  They used the story The Wizard of Oz to teach the students.  The assembly was about a boy (Kaden Crowther) who was on a journey to find the key to happiness.  He starts his journey with help from the good witch (Bailey Rollins).  He helps a lonely girl sitting alone at lunch (Reilly Rogers), an unconfident boy playing basketball (Braxton Smithson) and stops two bullies (Julia Dorny and Nathaniel Palmer) from picking on a poor girl (Helen Linford).  In the end the wizards (Addison Paystrup and Tage Langford) tell them the key to happiness is what they have been doing, filling others buckets.  The narrator (Kelcie Richmond) helps the students know that actions speak louder than words.
