5th Grade Families-

Over the last few weeks, we have had the opportunity for students to participate in the DARE program in coordination with the Spanish Fork Police Department.  Students have learned the consequences of drug and alcohol abuse, learned strategies for coping with emotions such as stress and anger, and developed a positive relationship with law enforcement. To celebrate participation in this program, we will be holding a DARE graduation program on Tuesday, March 1 at 2:00pm at the Sierra Bonita Auditorium.  Parents are invited to join us in this celebration.  Students should wear black or blue pants, jeans are fine, that day to school.  Students will be receiving a t-shirt to wear to the graduation that afternoon.  We don't know the color of the shirts, so to best coordinate, we make this request.  Students will perform two songs and each receive a certificate of program completion.  We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday. Sincerely, 5th Grade Teachers
