Hi Parents of 4th and 5th Grade!
Hello from Sierra Bonita's Music classroom!Beginning the week of April 11th, I will be teaching our 4th and 5th grades to play the recorder. If you do not own a recorder, your student may borrow one from the Music room or order one through the front office. These orders are high quality instruments and will cost $5. Payment can be made to Mrs. Worthen at the front office by March 25th.
I recommend that students do not bring a recorder purchased at a retail or dollar store. Recorders purchased from these stores are wonderful toys, however, they have poor tone, squeak and break easily. Your student may feel discouraged when they try to play them.
