Lost and Found Items

Our lost and found is getting pretty full again. When you have a moment, please check the lost and found for any missing items. We will set our lost and found up in front of the office during SEP conferences this Thursday. All items will be donated to charity on March 15th.

K-9 Presentation

Officer Dewitt (in bite suit) is our DARE officer! He is the best. Officer Grover (green) and Officer Smith (uniform) brought their K9's Mavrik (pictured) and Lorde (not pictured) came to show us how these amazing dogs work and keep us safe. #thatsrealpain.

The Three Chairs

Students had a great assembly about bullying and ways to help each other. Students were told a story about The Three Chairs.

Science Fair Winners!

Officer Miller Visits First Grade!

Officer Miller from our Mapleton Police Department, came to visit our frist grade classes. Students were able to look inside his patrol car and learn the duties of an officer.

Book Fair Hours

This week is our Book Fair! The hours are as follows:

Monday: 2:30-3:30pm

Tuesday: 8:30-9:30am and 3:15-4:15pm

Wednesday: 8:30-9:30am and 3:15-4:15pm

Thursday: 8:30-9:30am and SEP's from 3:15-8:00pm

Friday: 8:30-9:30am

We are so excited for our Spring Book Fair! Scholastic gives our school fifty percent of all proceeds to buy new books. All proceeds from this fair will go directly to the school's libraries and Pays To Read.

Letter from our PTA Regarding Reflections

Sierra Bonita parents, A few months back, we sent out a survey asking for your feedback regarding Reflections. On the survey we proposed 2 different ideas. The first one was to continue to participate in Reflections. The second was to opt-out of Reflections, but instead hold a Sierra Bonita arts contest with similar categories and prizes as Reflections.

Every Friday, "Praise Notes" are read during morning announcements. These students are called to the office and get thier picture taken. Students can earn a "Praise Note" by being caught doing kind things throughout the school and classrooms.
