UPSTART is a free, technology-delivered kindergarten readiness program that will give your child a fun start in reading, math and science (witha focus on reading) in just 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week.
UPSTART is funded by the state of Utah to help prepare children for kindergarte. There is NO cost for participating families.

Third Grade enjoyed an afternoon reward party playing Board Games!
Every Friday, "Praise Notes" are read during morning announcements. These students are called to the office and get thier picture taken. Students can earn a "Praise Note" by being caught doing kind things throughout the school and classrooms.

Attached is a UVU flyer for an online coding course for students Grades 4-12.
Parents can sign up their students online. It's $35 for elementary Scratch Programming and $99 for secondary Computer Coding.

The Parenting With Love & Logic course is designed to help parent’s practice effective parenting without the power struggles. Parenting With Love & Logic teaches parents and children to accept natural consequences and reach a win/win agreement. Course length: 3-4 weeks.
