Halloween Parade - Friday, October 30th @ 1:30pm

Halloween Costume Parade – October 30th. Students are welcome to wear their costumes to school on Friday, October 30th.  We do ask that students not wear masks, gory costumes, or bring any kind of weapon with their costume. Our Annual Halloween Costume Parade will begin at 1:30pm, and we invite all who would like to participate or watch the parade to come and enjoy this event. Chairs will be set up in the auditorium and in the hallways for all to enjoy.

K-9 Officer Glover

K-9 Officer Glover came to our school to teach students to "Say No to Drugs". He showed students how well trained his K-9 is to detect drugs and follow commands. Thank you officer Glover!

A Pie in the FACE!!

During Red Ribbon week, students had the opportunity to sign a 'drug-free' pledge. Students were chosen by random from the pledge papers to throw a pie in a teachers face!! This is one of many highlights of the year for students!

A BIG Congratulations to 5th grader Ammon Robinson!! He had the closest guess to how many gummy bears were in the jar! His guess was 1,127. The actual number was 1,188. Way to go Ammon! He was the winner and got to keep this big jar of gummy bears!

Every Friday, "Praise Notes" are read during morning announcements. These students are called to the office and get thier picture taken. Students can earn a "Praise Note" by being caught doing kind things throughout the school and classrooms.

Online Coding Camps for Nebo District Students Grades 4-9

We are excited to announce after-school computer coding classes at various locations throughout Nebo District. Students will learn the basics of computer science using the language SCRATCH 2.0. A 4 week introduction course will be held Nov 2015 and another one mid-Jan thru mid-Feb 2016. Intro classes are $20. An 8-10 week intermediate/advanced class will be held mid-Jan through the end of Mar 2016. This class will be $45. Whether you are a beginner wanting to learn the basics or are a pro, these classes are for you.
