Dear Sierra Bonita Parents & Guardians,

We are looking forward to a new school year together! Whether you can join us at our monthly PTA meetings & sign up for activity committees or not, we hope you will join PTA! Your membership helps our school PTA in numerous ways! PTA offers programs to increase family engagement and support the educational success, health, and well-being of all children. All of the children at Sierra Bonita Elementary benefit from the funds raised and programs offered by the PTA.

Utah State Board of Education School Meals Updates

What is happening?
The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) waiver that provided free meals to students is expiring at the end of the school year in June 2022.

This means that school meals will no longer automatically be free for everyone and you will need to submit an application to qualify for free/reduced breakfast and lunch.

Student Appreciation Week - May 23-27th

As we wind up the school year, we would like to recognize our students and have some fun days for our Student Appreciation Week! Attached you will see a flier with "Theme Days" starting Monday, May 23rd through Friday, May 27th!

Remember Friday, May 27th is a half day and school will dismiss at 12pm Noon!

Spanish Fork Legion Hosts Freedom Walk for Nebo Students

The Spanish Fork Legion Post 68 organized the Fifth Annual Freedom Walk for Spanish Fork and Salem fifth-grade students on May 10 and 11, 2022. Members from various branches of the military came and told stories to almost 1,350 fifth-grade students from13 schools over the past two days.

Praise Notes - May 13, 2022

Every Friday, "Praise Notes" are read during morning announcements. These students are called to the office and get their picture taken. Students can earn a "Praise Note" by being caught doing kind things throughout the school and classrooms.
