Praise Notes - February 24, 2022

Submitted by tiffany.manwaring on

Every Friday, "Praise Notes" are read during morning announcements. These students are called to the office and get their picture taken. Students can earn a "Praise Note" by being caught doing kind things throughout the school and classrooms.

Nebo Schools Open on Regular Schedule Thursday, February 23, 2023

All Nebo schools will be open on the regular schedule for Thursday, February 23, 2023. We truly appreciate the city, county, state, and district personnel for their diligent work in our recent storm across our district. Please remember that school closures are rare. In most cases, school will remain in session even with Utah's climate. Because weather conditions may vary greatly in different neighborhoods and on different streets, we encourage parents to make attendance decisions for their own students.

Having fun on a Snowy Day In Mrs. Diede's Class!

Submitted by tiffany.manwaring on

Today was a late start day due to all the snow we are getting.  The few students that Mrs. Diede had, they made a tower with red solo cups that were taller than her! These third grade students wanted Mrs. Diede to run through it and knock it down when they were done. Who says you can't have fun on a late start day?!

Miss Spanish Fork Visits Sierra Bonita

Submitted by tiffany.manwaring on

Miss Spanish Fork, Grace Ehinger, visited Sierra Bonita and challenged the students to show love to those around them. Students came home with a #daretolove worksheet. Each time they do an act of love (wave at a neighbor, give a hug or play with a new friend at recess), the parent or guardian will initial one of the hearts on the worksheet. Once all the hearts are filled out, turn it into your teacher. The winning class will get a visit by Miss Spanish Fork and a pizza party!

What a great reminder to love and show kindness to those around you!
