Parents of Kindergarten and 5th Grade,

Graduation Pictures will be taken TOMORROW, Friday, April 14th 2023. Picture packets have already been sent home. Everyone will have their picture taken, but only those that have paid for pictures will get them. No proofs will be sent home. I have attached a sample of the pictures packet for your information. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the office 801-798-4480. Or, you may call Eastman Adams Photography at 801-207-8240.

Pictures will be taken on the Stage in our gym. 

Congratulations to the following students for being recognized as our "Terrific Kids"! These students were selected by our school to receive a Kiwanis "Teriffic Kids" Award given by the Spanish Fork Kiwanis Club. Each year the Kiwanis Club recognizes outstanding 5th grade students from elementary schools in Spanish Fork and Salem for their contribution to the school and community. Their criteria for a Terrific Kid is one who is: Thoughtful, Enthusiastic, Respectful, Responsible, Inclusive, Friendly, Inquisitive, and Capable; hence, TERRIFIC.

Land ho! Our 3rd Book Blast Treasure Chest stuffed with cash winner has found the loot today. Congratulations, Zoe Smith!

We will have random drawings for $100 gift cards for students who have completed the requirements for inviting 10 people to contribute online.

Those who have not met the requirements, have until MIDNIGHT TONIGHT (4/13/2023) to invite 10 people in order to receive the three rewards.

In conjunction with Easter and learning Humpty Dumpty. AM Kindergarten students were excited to celebrate an egg drop! Kindergarten students made their own contraption to protect their hard boiled egg! Mr. Andersen and Mr. Gasser braved the roof to toss the egg contraptions off to see if the eggs survived. Great job Kindergarteners!

DRESS CODE: The weather is getting warmer and we want to make sure our students' dress promotes an effective learning environment free from unnecessary distraction - Clothing must cover from one armpit to the other down to mid-thigh on the front, sides, and back, with no viewable skin or underwear, and must connect from front to back over the shoulders with at least a wide strap.

Do you know any seniors at Maple Mountain High School graduating this year that attended Sierra Bonita? Tell them to apply for our leadership scholarship! Applications are due this Friday, April 14th either at the counseling office at the high school or our front office.
