SCHOOL HEALTH
IS YOUR CHILD TOO SICK FOR SCHOOL?
You are probably very aware of the fact that there are a lot of cold and flu germs that circulate in our community at this time of year. This same situation can be found throughout the state and even across the country.
Student Council members invited Senator Henderson and Representative McKell to visit Sierra Bonita Elementary. The Legislators were able to participate in upper grade math lessons and lower grade guided reading. Senator Henderson showed 6th grade students how laws are passed and gave students an opportunity to participate through a mock process. Representative McKell taught 4th grade students about Utah history and government.
