Next week the student council will be hosting a school wide competition called "Penny Wars". Each grade will be competing to have the highest total by the end of the week. Students can bring any coins or bills to put in grade level bins that will be located in front of the office before and after school. Pennies and any bill denomination will be considered "positive" for that grade, and any silver coin will count as "negative". It has been a fun, friendly competition in years past! The money raised will be used to award a scholarship to a former Sierra Bonita bear that is graduating from MMHS this year!
