For today's Who's Who Wednesday, we would like to introduce you to Mrs. Alisha Young!
What is your job title and how long have you been working?
3rd grade teacher, 3rd year at Sierra Bonita but 9th year of teaching
In your opinion, what's the best part of teaching or working with the kids?
I love building relationships with my students and having them share things with me that are important to them. By the end of the year they are my little buddies and our class is like a family!
What are some fun facts about you and your family?
I taught 5 years of 1st grade, 1 year of second grade and I'm in my 2nd year of 3rd grade. I love exercising, reading, eating ice cream and sleeping! My husband went to the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece and earned a silver medal. He is now the BYU Gymnastic coach and we are HUGE BYU fans! My oldest son, Tyler, loves to skateboard and snowboard. My middle child, Jaxson, is a diver with BYU Diving Club, and our youngest, Hadley loves art and dives as well. We have one dog, Koda (thanks to COVID).

I love teaching at Sierra Bonita! The staff and students are the best!
