Spanish Fork Youth Arts Festival

We have some exciting news to share! Spanish Fork Youth Arts Festival wants YOU to be a part of it! The festival is a celebration of the creative talents of young people in our community.
The festival will be happening on June 5-16, 2023, and we want you to participate! All you need to do is register through our online registration portal. We've made it super easy, and you can even get your friends involved too! So, grab your paintbrushes, pencils, needles, remotes, or any other creative tool you like and sign up now!
Fifth Grade Freedom Walk
The Spanish Fork Legion Post 68 organized the sixth Annual Freedom Walk for Spanish Fork and Salem fifth-grade students on May 8 and 9, 2023. Members from various branches of the military came and told stories to almost 1,350 fifth-grade students from13 schools over the past two days.

Nebo School District Held the Annual Super Stars Track Meet
Nebo School District and Maple Mountain High held the annual Super Stars Track and Field Day on Tuesday, May 4, 2023. This is not any ordinary track and field event. It is held for “Super Stars”--Nebo’s special needs students.
Dave Boyack, Athletic Director at Maple Mountain High, proposed this annual track meet and is responsible for getting it started. He has a lot of help from others including Tasha Lewis, special education teachers, coaches, and the Nebo School District Special Education Department. Darrell Wyatt announced the various track and field events.
Praise Notes - Friday, May 5, 2023
Every Friday, "Praise Notes" are read during morning announcements. These students are called to the office and get their picture taken. Students can earn a "Praise Note" by being caught doing kind things throughout the school and classrooms.

Holly Taylor- 1st Grader- Wins 2 tickets to the Fiesta Days Rodeo, Justin boots, Wrangler Jeans, and a Resistol cowboy hat as well as be involved in the opening ceremonies on the opening night of the Fiesta Days Rodeo.
Field Day Volunteers Needed
Field Day will be Monday, May 15th for kindergarten, Monday, May 22nd for 3rd & 4th grades and Tuesday, May 23rd for 2nd, 1st and 5th grades. We need parent volunteers to help run various stations during each of the sessions. If you can help, please sign up on the sign up genius linked below. We will provide all of the supplies needed and will email you instructions and your station assignment. Please plan to meet at the school 30 minutes prior to the start time to set up your station.
