IS YOUR CHILD TOO SICK FOR SCHOOL?
You are probably very aware of the fact that there are a lot of cold and flu germs circulating in our community at this time. This same situation can be found throughout the state and even across the country.
Hey Everybody,
As I'm sure most of you are aware, next week is Salem Hills High School's annual Make-A-Wish week. For those that haven't experienced it yet, it's one of the funnest and feel good weeks of the year.
I wanted to send out some information so that everyone is aware of what is going on.
Salem Hills High School Make-A-Wish child this year is McKade Kramer!!! He's from Spanish Fork and attends Sierra Bonita Elementary. I have attached a little info sheet on him.
Students at Sierra Bonita enjoyed an assembly honoring our Veterans. Thank you to all those who served. We enjoyed performances by our school choir. Students enjoyed posting pictures on our wall just outisde the office of thier family members who are Veterans. One of these Veterans came for a visit and was surprised to see his own picture. Thank you for your service!! A big shout out to our choir directors Amy Staheli and Marilyn Paice for all their hard work.
Just a friendly reminder TOMORROW is picture retake day! If your student has not had their picture taken, they will get it taken tomorrow, Monday, November, 12th. If your child has gotten their picture taken, but would like retakes, please send your picture packet to school with them on retake day. The photographer will need the picture packet to scan the bar code that is located on the picture packet.

5th grade students participated in Discovery Gateway Children's Museum Chemical Reaction Assembly. Students learned about physical and chemical reactions during the assembly and had the opportunity to do hands-on experiments with chemical reaction experiments.
