Wall of Honor

Hi Parents of 5th Grade Students!

Below you will see the template for our “Wall of Honor” in correlation with our Walk For Life walk this month. The idea of the Wall of Honor is to have each Fifth Grade student honor their service member with a small memorial page. This Wall of honor page will be displayed with all 1200 other students on the days of the walk. The "Wall of Honor" pages are due to the office this THURSDAY, MAY 11th.

WANTED! Used Jeans

Hi Parents!

We have a local boy scout collecting used jeans for his eagle scout project. These jeans can be in any shape, size and condition. Students can bring their unwanted jeans to the office. The office staff will provide a treat to the student for every pair of jeans they donate. We will be collecting used jeans all week long. The last day to donate jeans will be this Friday, May 12th.

Thank you!

AND eliminate boredom! Sign-up will be May 22nd-June 30th.

You will want to check our website for information about our many “Build A Better World” activities.  We have fantastic story times for children, as well as great events and classes for families, young adults, and adults!

Part of summer reading and other activities will involve encouraging everyone to participate in

 Acts of Kindness

 as we promote

 Build A Better World

right here in our own community.

NEW THIS YEAR, we are inviting the community to read the amazing book “Wonder” by R.J. Palacio.

This beautifully written book has brought new awareness to the power of kindness, friendship, compassion, empathy, and courage.   A #1 New York Times Best Seller, 2014 Beehive Award winner, and soon to be a major motion picture, this book will inspire all who read it.  A newly released picture book, “We’re All Wonders” is perfect for young children who want to join in.  Both are available for check out at the library.
