Kids Who Count - Early Intervention Services for Nebo Families

Since 1986, Kids Who Count has provided Early Intervention services to families of young children residing in the Nebo School District boundaries. We’ve helped thousands of families and children and we can help you. If you are concerned about your baby or toddler’s development or had a medical professional talk to you about some milestones your child hasn’t yet reached, you may be eligible for early intervention services. The purpose of Early Intervention is to enhance early growth and development in infants and toddlers under three, who have developmental delays or disabilities. Anyone can make a referral to receive a full assessment of your child’s health and developmental status at no cost. If you’re concerned about your infant or toddler, don’t hesitate to contact us. And, we now offer Autism Services for children 2 and older. Visit https://kidswhocount.org/ for more information. We are here to help!

Snow Make-Up Day - March 20th

Nebo School District

As you are aware, we had a “snow day” on Monday, February 3, 2020. The decision to cancel school was based on the hazardous weather of the morning, the forecast of a “super storm” for the rest of the day, extremely cold temperatures, and the slick conditions of the roads. We are aware that forecasts may not prove entirely accurate; but considering the conditions at the time, we decided that student and employee safety was our priority.

Since state law requires that we hold 180 instructional days, it has been decided that March 20, 2020, will be the snow make-up day. Because the snow day occurred during what would have been a Monday, minimal day, Friday, March 20, 2020, will also be a minimal day (like many of our Monday minimal days). (School will dismiss at 2:30pm this day)

If you have questions regarding items in this email or inclement weather in general, please feel free to contact the office at 801-798-4480.

Spring picture day is coming up on Friday, February 14th! Look for picture packets in the next day or two that will be coming home with your student. This is completely OPTIONAL. Your child will not have their picture taken unless you have a picture packet with payment or have already pre-paid online. We will have extra picture packets available in the office.

I have attached a sample of the packet as well.

Please contact the office if you have any questions. 801-798-4480.
