Attention for Show Choir Parents
We have been invited to sing at Maple Mountain High School’s Music at the Mountain, April 11, at 7:00 P.M. In order to be ready for this, I would like to have some additional choir practices for JUST the Show Choir kids.
Maple Mountain High School Student Council came to Sierra Bonita to help Officer Dewitt with our D.A.R.E program. The student council members were part of the panel for Sierra Bonita students to answer questions.
We appreciate the Maple Mountain High School Student Council for being outstanding examples to our Elementary Students. As well as, officer Dewitt from out Spanish Fork Police Department.

Every Friday, "Praise Notes" are read during morning announcements. These students are called to the office and get thier picture taken. Students can earn a "Praise Note" by being caught doing kind things throughout the school and classrooms.

Green Ribbon Week will be March 26th-30th
Monday: Be “Super” safe! Wear a superhero costume, hat or shirt. No masks please. Pledge to be safe on the streets by sending back your signed Student Pledge to the school for a green “Frootie” and to be placed on our “Pedestrian Safety Tree”. Also, tie your green ribbon on a place that will remind you to be safe- on your backpack, lunch box, bike, scooter etc.
Kindergarten pre-registration for Sierra Bonita Elementary will be held March 12th - March 21st. Walk-in registration will be held on March 21st in our Bears Den. The nurse will be unavailable from 2-3:30pm that day. *NOTE-These dates are pre-registration only for your Kindergartener.
You will STILL NEED TO COMPLETE FALL REGISRATION ONLINE beginning July 25th by going to https://sierrabonita.nebo.edu/registration OR in person at the school on August 1st from7 am-4:00pm. This will allow you to electronically sign all the policies.

Graduation photos will be held on Friday, March 23rd. Picture packets will be sent home this week. I have also attached a copy of it.
1. Please choose ONE portrait look from the options and return the form on picture day.
2. No need to send money now. After Picture Day, you will receive a portrait package to review and purchase.
Our Spring Book Fair was a complete success! Our school library, the take-home library, and the It Pays to Read program are getting $5,500 in books. This was a record breaking book fair. Thank you to our volunteers and parents for all the support!
(Spanish Fork, UT) - Joshua van Dyk, a special needs student at Sierra Bonita Elementary, has been named an Award of Excellence winner in Music Composition in the 2017-2018 Utah PTA Reflections Awards. Joshua's song, "I Will Do It," will move on with other Award of Excellence winners from Utah to compete at the national level.
Our lost and found is getting pretty full again. When you have a moment, please check the lost and found for any missing items. We will set our lost and found up in front of the office during SEP conferences this Thursday. All items will be donated to charity on March 15th.
Officer Dewitt (in bite suit) is our DARE officer! He is the best. Officer Grover (green) and Officer Smith (uniform) brought their K9's Mavrik (pictured) and Lorde (not pictured) came to show us how these amazing dogs work and keep us safe. #thatsrealpain.
