Recently our district applied to earn the Energy Star Certification. We sent in Energy Star applications for 44 of our facilities and ALL 44 qualified. This is an amazing feat because in order to qualify a building must score in the top 75 percentile compared against other schools in the nation. Our district average score was 99, with many schools scoring a perfect 100. Sierra Bonita was one of the schools who scored a perfect 100!!
This week, we will be participating in Penny Wars. Here's how it works:
Every Friday, "Praise Notes" are read during morning announcements. These students are called to the office and get thier picture taken. Students can earn a "Praise Note" by being caught doing kind things throughout the school and classrooms.

Attention for Show Choir Parents
We have been invited to sing at Maple Mountain High School’s Music at the Mountain, April 11, at 7:00 P.M. In order to be ready for this, I would like to have some additional choir practices for JUST the Show Choir kids.
One more practice tomorrow, Wednesday, April 11th, at 8:30 a.m., so we can make sure we have everything ready for that night.
I have attached the Registration Form for the Mapleton Track and Field. These forms are only for students in 3rd-6th grade. Please fill out, sign and print the form. Forms need to be turned into the teacher or the office TOMORROW, April 11th by 10:00am.
Track and Field Dates are as follows:
5th grade Tues. April 24th
6th grade Wed. April 25th
4th grade Tues. May 1st
3rd grade Wed. May 2nd
School will not be held next week due to Spring Break! (April 2nd-6th). We will see you back on Monday, April 9th.

Payson Canyon Kids Marathon and 5K - May 12, 2018
Register by April 15 to guarantee a race shirt. Come celebrate with students from Nebo School District as they complete the final 1.2 miles of thier marathon.
