Dear Choir Parents and Choir Kids,

Thank you all for a wonderful choir year. It has broken our hearts that we have not been able to perform our Disney Program this year. It has been one for the record, to say the least! We would like to let you know how much we have loved working with you this past school year in choir. We kept hoping that there was a chance that we could sneak it in the schedule for last week of school. Needless to say, there will not be one this year.

We would like to let you know that we will be doing this same program for next spring, and we will save your part for next year’s choir program. We will teach the new first graders the songs and have the new fourth graders learn the Show Choir songs. It really breaks our hearts that sixth grade will have to miss out on this program. You will be moving up to bigger and better things, as you start Middle School. We will have new songs for our Christmas Program, and hopefully, be able to start those songs in the Fall.

We would like to give the children a treat for their efforts this year. When you come to the school to get your students’ supplies, we will be outside with a candy bar for all choir students to say thank you. So have them come find us.  Thank you again for all of your support this year with our wonderful choir. We love what we do!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Staheli, Mrs. Medina, and Mrs. Paice

Congratulations Tyler Stewart!

Several of our 6th graders participated in the Noetic National Math Contest, and they all did great!  Tyler Stewart was our team winner and he got an Honorable Mention in the contest!  Congratulations to all our participants, and way to go, Tyler!

Thank You Lucy Ward!

According to History.com, Cinco de Mayo, or the fifth of May, is a holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s May 5, 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. The day, which falls on Tuesday, May 5 in 2020, is also known as Battle of Puebla Day. While it is a relatively minor holiday in Mexico, in the United States, Cinco de Mayo has evolved into a commemoration of Mexican culture and heritage, particularly in areas with large Mexican-American populations.

Submitted by tiffany.manwaring on Sun, 05/03/2020 - 21:24

All that is going on teacher appreciation week kind of got overlooked. Just wanted you all to know that we are able to still bring gifts to the front desk and they will get it to your teachers classroom for you.

-

This week is an awesome week to honor them for all the wonderful things they have been doing for us and our kids. I am so grateful for the teachers and leadership of Sierra bonita.

-

Office hours are 9 AM through 3 PM and again you can just drop it off with the teachers name on it at the front desk and they will get it to your teacher. Happy May to everybody and I hope you have a wonderful last few weeks of school.!!
