2017 Summer Reading Program

May 22nd-August 5th

The library is excited to invite readers of all ages to participate in one of our summer reading programs.

From toddlers to adults, we have something for everyone!

This is a great way to keep brains active, engaged, improve reading skills, encourage family time,

AND eliminate boredom! Sign-up will be May 22nd-June 30th.

You will want to check our website for information about our many “Build A Better World” activities.  We have fantastic story times for children, as well as great events and classes for families, young adults, and adults!

Part of summer reading and other activities will involve encouraging everyone to participate in

 Acts of Kindness

 as we promote

 Build A Better World

right here in our own community.

NEW THIS YEAR, we are inviting the community to read the amazing book “Wonder” by R.J. Palacio.

This beautifully written book has brought new awareness to the power of kindness, friendship, compassion, empathy, and courage.   A #1 New York Times Best Seller, 2014 Beehive Award winner, and soon to be a major motion picture, this book will inspire all who read it.  A newly released picture book, “We’re All Wonders” is perfect for young children who want to join in.  Both are available for check out at the library.

We hope to see you at the library this summer!
