As you are aware, we had a “snow day” on Monday, February 3, 2020. The decision to cancel school was based on the hazardous weather of the morning, the forecast of a “super storm” for the rest of the day, extremely cold temperatures, and the slick conditions of the roads. We are aware that forecasts may not prove entirely accurate; but considering the conditions at the time, we decided that student and employee safety was our priority.

Since state law requires that we hold 180 instructional days, it has been decided that March 20, 2020, will be the snow make-up day. Because the snow day occurred during what would have been a Monday, minimal day, Friday, March 20, 2020, will also be a minimal day (like many of our Monday minimal days). (School will dismiss at 2:30pm this day)

If you have questions regarding items in this email or inclement weather in general, please feel free to contact the office at 801-798-4480.
