We enjoyed a wonderful experience on Friday as the School Board, school employees, families and community members participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony. Mr. Larsen addressed the audience and welcomed all to the new Sierra Bonita Elementary School. He expressed appreciation to the faculty, community, architect and contractors for all of their hard work and support.
Superintendent, Rick Nielsen introduced District Employees and Board Members. He remarked how the students attending the school provide the soul to the building. Kristen Betts, School Board Member, also spoke to the audience and encouraged all to enjoy the new school. Students and faculty participated in singing several songs.
Dean Rowley, School Board President, gathered students to assist in cutting the ribbon. All were welcome to enter the building and meet the teachers during the Open House.
