On October 24, 2011 the Sierra Bonita Kindergarten students had the opportunity to visit Pumpkinland. While at Pumpkinland the students were able to see many different types of pumpkins, gourds, and squash. Some liked the white pumpkins or the funny green, bumpy squash and others preferred the traditional orange pumpkin. They were able to see all sizes of pumpkins growing in Farmer Grant’s pumpkin patch. Students also enjoyed a corn maze that had a secret room (some of them found it and some didn’t!). During our time at Pumpkinland students participated in completing an I Spy paper on which they circled all of the fall items they were able to find. Students also enjoyed seeing turkeys, rabbits, chickens, goats and peacocks. We had a great time seeing some of the signs of fall
