Reflections Awards Night
Reflections Awards Night will be held Tuesday, November 4, at 7:00pm, in Sierra Bonita’s auditorium. All
students who participated are invited to attend with their parents.
Father/Son Olympics Activity Night
The first ever Sierra Bonita Father/Son Olympics Night will be held this Friday, November 7, 7:00pm, at
the school. There will fun activities - come compete and show your stuff! All boys and dads are invited. If
your dad can't make it, no problem! Bring your grandpa, uncle, big brother, neighbor, family friend or
even your mom! We look forward to a fun evening! Hope to see you all there!
7 Habits of Happy Kids!
We are excited to begin the 7 Habits of Happy Kids program at our school! The student council helped
introduce the 7 Habits to our student body through a skit they shared in an assembly last week. Each
month, we will be focusing on a different habit. For November, our featured habit is:
Be Proactive – I am a responsible person. I take initiative. I choose my actions, attitudes, and
moods. I do not blame others for my wrong actions. I do the right thing without being asked,
even when no one is looking.
PTA Book Fair & Reading
Thank you for your wonderful support given to our PTA Book Fair. Students were excited to receive and
read their new books. The PTA chose to receive their proceeds in books for our classrooms, our school
library, and our It Pays to Read program at the school. It is wonderful to see our students’ excitement
for reading.
Box Tops
Thank you for all your efforts in clipping and sending Box Tops for Education to school. Our recent
collection was a huge success! Thank you to our PTA for coordinating this program. We will have our
next Box Top Class Competition on January 26 – 30.
Community Counseling Seminar
Nebo School District counselors are pleased to announce a Community Counseling Seminar:
“What Were You Thinking?!”
How Depression & Anxiety Make Children Think Differently
Detecting and Assisting Children with Depression or Anxiety
This seminar will be held at 7:00pm, on Wednesday, November 19, in the Nebo School District Board
Room (350 S Main, Spanish Fork).
