As I'm sure most of you are aware, next week is Salem Hills High School's annual Make-A-Wish week. For those that haven't experienced it yet, it's one of the funnest and feel good weeks of the year.
I wanted to send out some information so that everyone is aware of what is going on.
Salem Hills High School Make-A-Wish child this year is McKade Kramer!!! He's from Spanish Fork and attends Sierra Bonita Elementary. I have attached a little info sheet on him.
Here's the events for the week: (All events will be at Salem Hills High School)
Monday November 12th will be our Make-A-Wish assembly at Salem Hill HS. McKade is a fan of BYU football so we have members of the BYU football team, the Cougarettes, and Cosmo attending and performing. It'll be a fun one.
Tuesday night at 7:00pm will be a movie night in the small gym at Salem Hill HS. In addition to football, McKade also likes superheroes so we will be showing The Incredibles 2. The movie is $3/person.
Thursday night at 7:00pm is Manhawk. For those that are new, Manhawk is a night where girls put together and train groups of boys to perform a dance routine. It's a lot of fun seeing what these kids put together. Entry to the event is $5/person.
Then Monday the 19th will be the Great Skyhawk Gorge. It goes from 5:00-7:00pm and will be in the SSHS gyms. The students like to describe this night as "Costco samples on steroids". This event is $5/person and $20/family. Payable to the SHHS Finance Office.
In addition to these events there are couple other things going on to raise money to help McKade.
Sierra Bonita will have a donation jar in the front office if you'd like to donate any spare change you may have.
Salem Hills HS will also be selling t-shirts and dog tags throughout the week. I have attached an image of what the shirt will look like. The dog tags will be black with the same image as the shirt on it. Shirts are $10, dog tags are $6, but if you buy both it's only $15. You can pay for these at the Salem Hills HS finance office.
This is a great week to have fun and do a lot of good.
Thanks so much and if there are any questions let me know
