Letter from our PTA Regarding Reflections

Sierra Bonita parents, A few months back, we sent out a survey asking for your feedback regarding Reflections. On the survey we proposed 2 different ideas. The first one was to continue to participate in Reflections. The second was to opt-out of Reflections, but instead hold a Sierra Bonita arts contest with similar categories and prizes as Reflections. The school-only program would have less limitations and rules, but the participants would not have the opportunity to move on to district or beyond.  Most of the people that took the survey supported the idea of switching to a school-only contest. However, we are aware that some of you expressed concern and would like for our school to continue participating in Reflections. In order to make a decision, we'll have a meeting on Friday, March 2nd at 2:30 pm in the teachers' lounge to discuss both options.
