Brilliant Benevolent Bears

Each month Mr. Lewis (school counselor) talks about our monthly character education theme over morning announcements.

During announcements a couple times a week, the student council will read a quote that goes along with the theme of the month.

Each week, teachers will look for students that are showing the character trait for that month and place the students name on a 'Brilliant Benevolent Bear' note and turn it into the office. At the end of the month Mrs. Jenkins reads off the names and they come to the office to receive a prize or popcorn. Their “Brilliant Benevolent Bear” notes are placed in the lunchroom/gym hallways for other students to see during the school year.
