Who's Who Wednesday

Submitted by tiffany.manwaring on

For today's Who's Who Wednesday, we would like to introduce you to our Volunteer, Ray Galt!

What is your job title and how long have you been working?

Ray Galt has been a volunteer for Sierra Bonita for a couple of years now.

In your opinion, what's the best part of teaching or working with the kids?

Seeing the excitement on their faces when they learn something new. Having my grandkids at this school when I volunteer has also been a great highlight.

Rodeo Reading Challenge Winners!

Submitted by tiffany.manwaring on

Nebo School District is excited to partner with the Fiesta Days Rodeo team to challenge our elementary students in the Spanish Fork area to read more. This year’s theme is “Read More.”

The Fiesta Days Rodeo Committee kicked off the Rodeo Reading Challenge a little different this year.

Students are asked to log their reading for the month of March. The students will turn in their reading minutes to their teacher and each grade will have a winner.

Last year the students’ combined reading total reached 2,829,227 million minutes or 1,965 days or 5 years.
