School Registration - Tuesday, August 2nd, from 7:00am-4:00pm

School Registration

We invite everyone to please attend school registration. School registration is for all new and returning students and will take place on Tuesday, August 2nd, from 7:00am-4:00pm.

Students new to Sierra Bonita will need to have a birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residency documentation.

According to state policy, the school and the PTA are required to receive money/payments separately. We just wanted you to have this information prior to registration day so you can be best prepared to make payments for t-shirts, school lunch, yearbooks, school donations, etc.

PTA

Welcome to Sierra Bonita!

Our PTA would love having the support of all parents and teachers. Why become a member of the PTA?
Utah PTA is the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in Utah. Our PTA funds and organizes
various events that make a positive impact on our children’s educational experience at Sierra Bonita
Elementary: book fairs (bringing hundreds of books into the school library and classrooms),
Reflections, Red and Green Ribbon Week, Teacher Appreciation Week and many more. Your
membership (only $6 per year) allows you to choose your local leaders and have a say on how funds
are utilized. Members also benefit from affiliation with state and national PTA (receiving support
materials and leadership training). In addition, all members receive a membership card with discounts
to local vendors (who also choose to support their local PTA).

If you want to become a member of the PTA, we will be available at the school on Registration day
(Tuesday August 2nd) and again at the Open House on Monday, August 22nd, 6:00-7:00 pm to help
you sign up.

If you want to be more involved, we are now looking for volunteers to chair PTA activities
that will take place during the 2016 – 2017 school year. Please click on the link to see where you are

Upcoming Events
 Membership signup forms and school T-shirts will be available at registration and Open House: August
2nd, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm and August 22nd, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

PTA Board Meetings are held the second Monday of the month at 9:15 am in the faculty room. All members are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
