BEARS’ BULLETIN
Sierra Bonita School News
December-2015
Officer Miller, a Mapleton police officer, was able to spend time in classes at Sierra Bonita talking to students about safety. Officer Miller taught students about stranger danger and what to do if they get lost. He also told about his scariest experience as a policeman which was performing life-saving CPR on an infant. He also expressed how that experience was his greatest as well. Thank you Officer Miller!
Congratulations to Stephanie Galt who is this year’s recipient of the Crystal Apple Award. Stephanie is Sierra Bonita’s talented literacy coach who is a valuable resource to all teachers and passionate about helping students. A huge thank you to Stephanie for all she does!
