Students at Sierra Bonita enjoyed BYU's "Young Company" perform "The Fisherman and His Wife".
Every year Sierra Bonita has a Halloween parade for all students and parents to enjoy. We saw everything from crossing guards, football players, barbie and snow white and the seven dwarfs! We hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween!
Artist Tom Wood came to Mrs. Gregory's 4th grade class to share information abourt desert environment. After sharing information about how the desert arches are formed, he taught us how to recreate their beauty on paper using oil pastels. We loved learning at the feet of an actual artist!
Thank you Mr. Tom Woods!
Today we we had the honor of having veterans visit Sierra Bonita! The veterans who came served during Vietnam, Korean War, Desert Storm, and the War in Iraq. We would like to thank all those who have fought for our freedoms and made our country the greatest place to live! Our very own Kindergartener McKinlee West had her great grandfather visit as one of the Veteran's!
On Veteran's Day, we honor ALL who answered to a service to call
Soldier's young, and soldiers old, fought for our freedom, BRAVE and BOLD.
