Nebo School District's free annual hearing screenings for ALL (both remote and in-person students) of Sierra Bonita's 1st, 3rd, & 5th graders will take place on the afternoon of Thursday October 1st. The screenings will begin at 12 pm noon and will take 3-5 minutes per child.
If for any reason your child does not pass this screening, he/she will need to be rescreened two weeks later.
If, however, your child does not pass the second screening, we will let you know. If this is the case, it is recommended that your child receive a full evaluation, which is offered free of charge through the district.
If for any reason you would prefer your child’s hearing NOT be screened, please contact the school SLP Sara Avila (sara.avila [at] nebo.edu) before October 1st.
