Welcome to Sierra Bonita!

Our PTA would love having the support of all parents and teachers.

Why become a member of the PTA? Utah PTA is the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in Utah. Our PTA funds and organizes various events that make a positive impact on our children’s educational experience at Sierra Bonita Elementary: Book Fairs, arts programs, Safety Week, Teacher Appreciation Week, family fun nights, Field Day, and more. Thanks to your support, in the 2017-2018 school year we donated over $12,000 in new books to our teachers, libraries, and reading assemblies. We were also able to purchase a much needed new copy machine for our school.

We are excited for a new school year and hope you’re ready to join us! Your membership (only $6 per year) allows you to choose your local leaders and have a say on how funds are utilized. This year as a token of appreciation, all PTA members will receive a $1 discount per school spirit item (shirts and hoodies) purchased up to $6. Your support is important to have another successful year at Sierra Bonita.

If you want to become a member of the PTA, we will be available at the school on Registration day (Wednesday August 1st, 9 am to 1 pm) and during the Open House (Monday August 20th, 3 to 5 pm) to help you sign up and order school shirts and hoodies.

PTA Board Meetings will be held the second Monday of the month at 9:15 am in the faculty room. Everyone is welcomed (small children included) and encouraged to attend.
